Danu's Irish Herb Garden

The two day workshop will comprise of a day of working closely with plants and building up a relationship with our Green Relations; followed by a day introducing medicine making skills with an emphasis on preparing Back to School/Winter remedies. During the first day you will learn how to discover a Plant Ally and to communicate with the plant. This part of the day will help open the heart to the amazing generosity of the plants. After lunch we will prepare and make a Flower Essence to bring home. All you need is a blanket, a glass bowl and an open heart. This will be a soothing, healing and restorative day, making a deep connection with Nature and with the plants and creating a vibrational medicine - a flower essence - that you take home.

During the second day we will briefly explore how plant medicine affects the body, why plant medicine is so beneficial to our bodies, how to make various types of herbal medicines while focusing on the issues that we face at this time of year - going back to school and going in to seasonal changes. We will make a herbal remedy for everyone to take home with them. Notes will be given for the participants to make their own remedies at home.
